This society aims to: Arrange mentorship opportunities for physicians, medical students and technologists who are interested in the field of anatomic and clinical pathology. Assist pathology residents and fellows in orientation, initiation and completion of their training. Actively participate and support efforts of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and other organizations in matters dealing with the governmental institutions with regard to regulations which affect the physicians and to organize an Annual meeting of the association at the annual meeting of CAP and USCAP. Encourage and facilitate research in the field of Pathology and its subspecialties in the United States and Pakistan. Institute ways and means to cooperate with similar organizations in North America, Pakistan and other world forums. Promote joint academic programs with established pathology societies in Pakistan and to arrange an annual CME conference in Pakistan at medical schools. Organize a visiting faculty program in collaboration with medical institutions in Pakistan. Facilitate establishment of a regular exchange of information between the medical journals in Pakistan and members who are interested in publishing their scientific work. Participate in medical relief and other charitable activities both in Pakistan and North America.
